Like I said, latency only begins to become perceptible at 6 ms...ever so slightly. So, anything less than 6 ms will effectively seem like zero latency. The actual latency of the 11R + TC is likely to be less than 6 ms. The two probably have a round trip latency of something like 5.74 ms.

The FXII states it's latency is 1ms or 1.4ms if a loop is used.

Most can't tell latency until it's about 10ms which is about the same as playing an amp 10 feet from you.

I'm wondering about maybe getting an 11 and the Two Notes CAB pedal

I can get both for under a grand !

Instead of the Kemper or Axe ?

Seems like I could get decent tones ?

Found those pics for ya !

May be 256 points or whatever, the kemper actually sounds like this with a Mesa MarkIII profile. Far better than the IIC+ 11R amp for me (and I loved the 11R)

Yeah I should have quoted cliff. I just figured you guys would have known I didn't come up with that on my own. Also when I posted that Christoph had not replied yet, and when he did is was posted in the other kemper thread. Sorry

i don't care which one is more "accurate"....if it doesn't make you play your guitar, then it only turns you into a cork sniffer.

it's crazy to me that people spend so much time defending their equipment instead of playing.

People always assume if you decide to talk about the tech side of things you don't play guitar enough. Why is this. Can I not play guitar and discuss the tech side of things too? It interests me, is there something wrong with that? My axe fx II makes me play guitar plenty, it is what I do in most of my free time.

I know it is good for me, but I have seen people say on this forum a few times that if you discuss or make a comparison you talk more than you play guitar.

I think making a comparison based on features is one thing, because it allows someone who needs a quad-chorus the ability to make the right choice.

When a comparison is made on something as arbitrary as how many operations per second a processing unit can make vs. another it shows an attempt at undermining the value of an item without equal comparisons.

That is to say, I could build a multi effects device with dual quad Xeon cpu's and process enough instructions per second to land a space shuttle... but without quality algorithms, interfaces and end user experience, it's nothing but a pile of bolts and sheet metal.

I guess the point is, arguments of arbitrary foundation suggest desperation or lack of understanding.
