I loved the music but I am not a fan of those type of vocals...
but for that type of metal it's spot on IMO.
I know the stuff I wrote 30 years ago is way different than what I write now. I think it's got to be great to see your kids doing this...
I look forward to my grandson getting into it, I got him a guitar on his 6th or 7th birthday and he has not really messed with it.. he wants to play drums and when I got a set of TD11's for the band and was going to give the old Alesis Dm5's to my church he said he wanted them in his room and he plays them a lot. I don't want to push him to hard to play guitar because I don't want him to resent it so I'll wait patiently until he wants to himself he's almost 11 and I will just keep encouraging him to play both, he does have some natural talent for the drums though.

How did you get your son interested and how old is he now and when he started?
