Never really thought about the lyrics haha Yeah, all I have to say is vocalists and their projects...James Labrie even threw me off quite a bit with the direction he took. I think vocalists do a lot of karaoke on the side and watch American Idol & Glee want to appeal to the pop & radio crowd.

I prefer Sweet & Lynch over all the other Lynch related projects (since the 90s anyway), but I always liked Stryper & Michael Sweets albums. Sweet & Lynch is an interesting mix of Stryper's older stuff, Sweet's newer stuff, Lynch's early and later stuff. It's kind of cool to hear those mutes coming from someone who isn't Michael Sweet or Oz Fox. Sometimes they get sneaky and Michael & even Oz play guitars on some of these, but I think Lynch gets to play Oz here & I like the way it turned out. Stryper & Sweet have been drifting away trying to get things back to the good ole days and this brought some energy back kinda like Richie Kotzen playing for Poison did, but again I loved them before that so it had a greater impact on me than a lot of people.
