I know there are some "clean" models and I am trying these. I'm really after something super clean and not too compressed and not inherently using modulation. I can add that to taste if needed.

Also I am curious about the compressors in the 11. The one that I tried in some of the clean patches sounded really distorted. Is there a preferred compressor to use for clean?

Thanks,

DL

Sorry if Im stating the obvious, but I like Fender Twins or similar for clean sounds. Nice clear top end. Also, if the models are right, the dynamics are there (punchy and not squished).

From there you should get a pretty good read on what compressors sound good. Try putting the compressor after the amp/spkr.
