Guys- Sorry, I know this topic has been beaten to death here and elsewhere. I have been using my 11R with headphones for years as a practice tool at home. I'm considering using it Live and trying to configure a rig around it. If I only want to switch between a few rigs do I need the Behringer FCB1010 with the Eureka chip? Or is there a smaller, simpler foot controller that would work. I'm new to midi but technically competent. Is there a simple way to put say, four rigs (that are not sequential) on four floor buttons in a row?

I think you are going to have to create your four favorite patches in A1 A2 A3 A4 and with this pedal you can call 16 patches up to D4

I have a Boss midi pedal. The FCB1010 is huge and has a ton of features.

I bought a Tech21 Mongoose last month. Very small, light, has 2 expression pedal inputs, can operate on DC/phantom power/9v battery. I like it A LOT, because it's so small and light.

If not Sequential is required then you'd need a fully programmable controller if you want to put the 4 patches in a row on the board. Otherwise you'd have to do a lot of tap dancing switching banks. If you put them in a row a simple dual foot switch could index the 11R up and down utilizing the 1/4 control input. No midi required. I have a fcb1010 with uno firmware but as I understand the last Behringer firmware can do it too. Peak makes a smaller programmable midi controller. I've thought of downsizing a bit to a Rocktron midi mate. I like 2 rows of switches so I can turn fx on and off and have a gain boost programmed too.

The old ARTX15 is a fully programmable controller with 2 pedals.
works well with 11rack…soft switches though, if that bothers you.
Simpler and with a small footprint ... Rolls MP80 with two tier stepped frame
