So... the screen appears to have gone out on my 11R. If I connect it to a computer I can use the standalone editor and scroll through patches and even the knobs appear to work - just the screen is dead (blank basically.)

The drag is that I don't use the unit near a computer most of the time. It'll be a hassle to have to bring in a laptop and connect it up just to change patches.

Is it worth having it repaired? Does anyone have any experience with trying to get one repaired or should I just buy one used and replace it?

If it can't be fixed, maybe a ground control would help. It shows the patch names.
