Hi guys,

Been using protools 8 le for a couple of years now with my 11R. However, I have to have my 11 connected, which isn't always practical (for example if I'm traveling but still want to work on my mixes etc, or going to our other guitarists house to mix as taking the 11 is a pain due to its bulkiness) so my question is this: If I buy an M-box, will I be able to use that with my protools instead, or is it licensed to a particular piece of Avid hardware meaning it has to be that one that's connected?

You can use whatever Avid (Digidesign back then) interface you want, as long as one of them is plugged in..
