Well it's been 19-days since I received the Fractal Axe Fx II XL+ & this is where I'm at so far.
I created 2-mini tunes (FAS & Furious II & Road Trip USA) where I showcase my favorite tones so far.
The biggest surprise to me about Fractal & the Axe Fx is not the stellar tones, even though they are uber impressive. The easy of use & how quick it is to achieve them is what is really surprising me here.
The lead on "FAS & Furious II" is the FAS Modern II amp, & boy is that a killer fun amp to play through.
The 2nd mini song called "Road Trip USA" is the USA Clean amp w/ the BB preamp in front of it & 2-digital delay fx.
I really wish I would have known how easy this thing is to use a long time ago.....& the selection of amps, cabs, drive pedals & FX is just mind blowing.
If you're on the fence....I'm pushing you over to the other side people!!!!
Good luck in your tone hunt & "Grow a beard"! :p
Peace! X-Mann
PS - This video was a total blast to make & I had some help from some good friends too!
Sounds Great bro!!! Dude your playing is gotten phenomenal. (not that it was anything less than stellar before) so did you go for the foot control too?

No, not at all! I'm only using the Axe Fx ii XL+ for recording at this time. I'll own the AX8 as soon as my name is called from the waiting list.
The AX8 is the perfect form factor for me & I just want to bring that, my Carvin guitars & my Friedman amps to a gig.

Oh.....& Thanks for the kind words & like ALL of us, I'm always trying to get better & better as times moves forward.
This is a great demo, usually it's full on metal or classic cover tunes. I've always wanted to hear some Neil Zaza type stuff like that second mini tune.
Not sure what this AX8 is, so watched some videos about it and it seems promising if you can make the same sounds you just made on it.
Your preference for brighter tones really showcases the Axe FX II's abiity to deliver whatever tone you're looking for.
I almost wonder what the FX8 with Eleven Rack or other modelers will sound like. I didn't even know about the FX only version of Axe FX or the AX8 with both modeling and FX until this thread.

So many options these days.
Thanks & Thanks! I better STOP my on-line lessons w/ Neil ASAP though, I want to sound like me & not him! LOL
Yes, the AX8 will (aka should) make these exact same tones as these are only single amp rigs. The AX8 will be the PERFECT gig rig for me & I can't wait till mine arrives. A HUGE video will follow as well.
& You're right, so manygreat options in the amp modeling world.......& who cares what you use in the end either!
It's what you do & create with what you do own that matters anyways!
