I need a little help downloading some Ownhammer IRs onto my EPSi. I have the Ownhammer file but am not seeing any instruction on giving each wav a 3 digit number. Could someone help me with this? (TLTD old buddy, old pal?)

Basically if you need the short version, find the ones that look like this: OwnHammer-Impulse-Responses\OwnHammer-Public-Beta-Redux\Wav\44100-Hz_Stereo\OwnHammer_412_PBR-BOG-ST_V30-CH_57_USA-Modern-2.wav

Rename it to this: 001 OwnHammer_412_PBR-BOG-ST_V30-CH_57_USA-Modern-2.wav

Put the SDCard in yout PC and copy that into the EPDA folder (might want to back up what's on it first to your hard drive in case you need it and back up your card once in a while just in case so you always have your favrites on there)

You MAY have to visit the website if the cabinet firmware is not loaded and get that file. Here's the firmware page with downloads and instructions: http://www.logidy.com/?pid=9

One thing that was awkward for me at first was that even after you finally get it working, when you change IRs, you have to tap the [Recall] button because I think it writes that IR to memory (plus side is that will work from then on even without an SDCard, but to me is just an anoyance). I'm guessing though that if you have the footswitch, you wont have to deal with that?

This is a great little box, I'm glad that made it in stereo, that adds a lot of possibiliies. I find that the stereo ones sound better to me, even if you decide to record to mono tracks or convert them to mono tracks.

Which Ownhammer impulses do you have, by the way?

I can almost tell you which ones to load up. The newest ones all have the solid state power amps and sound pretty darn good though I must say, and they are simplified for hi/mid/low gain. That was genius.

I will give that a try. It looks like it takes alot of typing out of the equation. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I have the 412-GTR-MAR-CB-MIX. I think it might be the speaker collection as it has 15 different folders with Speaker abbreviations on them. If you are familiar with that file, I would love to know which ones you think are good.

I am having trouble using the rename utility. I get all the way to the end as per your instructions but when I hit rename, nothing happens. Rename is grayed out. Any ideas? EDIT. I figured it out. I wasnt highlighting the wave files that i wanted to issue numbers to.

okay if it's the modern one, M-SB-75 & V30-CH are my favorites for heavy stuff, the M-CB-75 is a great one for medium gain/blues, either the T1 LIVE MODERN ones or the SS STUDIO MODERN ones seem to be the best ones.

The vintage ones, the H-BB-55 is great for 80s rock/metal.

Those are both my son and I's favorite speakers & cover about everything from clean to high gain from those.

Cool. I seem to have all those in my EPDA folder. Cant wait to hear them. Now I need to figure out how to print a list so i can identify the 3 digit number with the name of the IR. I guess I shouldnt have loaded all 498 of the Ownhammer IRs in my EPSi at once!
