As usual, I really dig your stuff. I like the constant building up you do from 0:22 to 1:28 in this song. Really nice work with the song, playing, and tones.

Something I noticed on the lead tone you have - really noticeable to me from 1:28 on - not sure how to describe it. Seems like an "whip" sound on your picking, on the initial transient. Is that an effect (reverb or wah or flange or something?) Not sure if it is just your picking and how it comes through the amp/cab/reverb models, or if you did something to get that.

whe "whip" u talk about is probably related to the incremented gain he uses in that part, the pick he uses and mostly the picking style he have smile

Thank you!
The "whip" sound comes from the attack with the pick. I use Jim Dunlop Jazz III picks. This sound is very noticeable when I select the neck pickup and I attack the strings very strongly because the Jazz III picks are really hard. This helps me to define the fast notes because the neck pickups has a rather dark tone. When I select bridge pickup I don't attack so hard, but I do it when I play lower strings.

It's really hard to get clean and warm tones with some amp simulations of the Eleven Rack. The Black Duo Amp is one of these. I like the clean tone of my Super Reverb Silverface "Real" Amp, and I tried several times to get that tone with the 11R.

If you set the volume at 5, the sound is really clean, yes, but it hasn't the low-end and the fat body that makes these amps great.
If you raise the 8, the sounds comes overdrived and undefined.
I tried with differents cabinets, mic, Eqs, Compresion... and after spending some hours tweaking and comparing with the sound of my real amp, I think I finally got it!
This is me noodling with my SX Guitar and the new patch.

All the guitars were recorded with the same preset.
The solo guitar has a bit of White Boost.

P.S.: I shared the preset of the lastest video here as "Tokai Soldano".

Sounds very nice - but a little too bright for my taste. Anyway, I think this could easily be tweaked. Are you willing to share the preset?

I want to test this preset with my band this weekend in a live show direct to PA. I'll share it here the next week.
