You ARE in fact entitled to Pro Tools 12 BUT you will need to buy a maintenance agreement (support contract Avid calls it) to get any upgrades or feature enhancement releases. It is kind of a gray area here; While you are entitled to Pro Tools 12, a support contract was not included in the bundle, so if there are any feature releases or upgrades you would have to be on the support contract ($199 annually) in order to receive them. So your price + $199 = $799 USD

However, Pro Tools 12 requires that you also purchase a support plan ($199 for Pro Tools, $599 for Pro Tools HD) in order for you to be able to get any FURTHER upgrades. Bug fixes will be free but if there are new features added, they will not be available without the support plan. Bundled Pro Tools (the 11 Rack + Pro Tools ) does NOT include the support plan. Anyone currently running Pro Tools 9 - 11 can upgrade for $199. A full version of Pro Tool 12 WITH the support plan is $899. Just pointing out the details and economics is all, Brother.
