Hi Guys,

Still getting over the learning curve of the eleven rack, and I love it so far.

My question....

From owning a Line 6 HD 500 I understand about the use of the FX Loop for live situations & for the 4 Cable method.

When I'm playing a rig at home with my studio monitors, do I have the FX loop on or off? Silly, I know, but I'm not sure. Do I treat it the same way, that it has to be on in the path. I didn't notice yet or look if the loop is on in the premade rigs that came with the unit.
I wanted to create some rigs, so do I put the fx loop where I want in the path , and engage it or bypass? I'm confused. Or is the FX LOOP only for live applications or 4cm?
Thank you all for your time,
~Pat

Hey Pat,

No, you dont HAVE to have the FX loop on when using the 11R. You can turn it on or off for whatever situation you need, live or in your studio!
Check out the guide for the 11R here...check out pages 10, 17, 18 and 82

Peace

Thank you for your prompt answer. I guess my confusion is, the only time the FX loop needs to be engaged is when you play live or 4cm. I noticed although the fx loop is part of the rig, it is not engaged in all of the presets that came with unit.
