Hi all. I have had my Eleven Rack since 2011 and I still love the unit. I just started thinking of reamping to get better bass tones when recording and would love some help with my routing.

How do you route your DI track from Reaper to the Eleven Rack and back?
I am doing everything digitally through USB.

I am working on a mac (os 10.9.5) and have reaper 4.74 and the way I get it to track/reamp is as follows:

0. Set the 11r as your interface
1. Have a dry guitar (or bass) track recorded from input 1 (guitar input), we will call that Trk1.
2. On Trk1 click on the 'I/O' button that is next to the track name and select the 'Add new hardware output' -> 'Output 3' (or 3 and 4 if it is a stereo track), my output 3 is called 'ReAmp L'.
3. Hold down the 'Edit/Back' button on the 11r and select 'Rig Input'. Switch it to 'Re-Amp'.
4. Make a new stereo track (Trk2) in reaper and set its input to 'Input 3 + 4', on mine it is called 'Eleven Rig L + Eleven Rig R'. Name Trk2 with the patch selected, record enable and mute Trk2.
5. Make sure Trk1 is NOT record enabled or muted.
6. Press record on reaper, you should hear and see the track being printed.
7. Check the time-alignment of the audio on Trk2 (sometimes mine end up a few milliseconds late, based on my system's performance).
8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 to do multiple different 11r presets.
9. When done, remember to hold down the 'Edit/Back' button on the 11r, select 'Rig Input' and set it back to guitar.

I hope this works for you, post back if you run in to problems.

Just to make it easy to see, the 11r has these Input/Output assignments:

INPUTS (your DAW gets input from these points):
1. Guitar In, 2. Mic In
3. Eleven Rig Left, 4. Eleven Rig Right
5. Digital In Left, 6. Digital In Right
7. Line In Left, 8. Line In Right

OUTPUTS (your DAW sends its out to these points):
1. Main Output Left, 2. Main Output Right
3. ReAmp Left, 4. ReAmp Right
5. Digital Output Left, 6. Digital Output Right

Thank you very much for the information guys. When I click on the I/O button I only get

1.Main out L/ Main out R
1.Main out L
2.Main out R

So I cannot select Output-3 ReAmp L.

any ideas?

Are you sure Reaper is using the 11R as its interface? What you posted is what you'd see if you were using a regular two channel audio card as in/out.. What operating system are you on?

Go to preferences in Reaper
Go to device
In the output range where it shows Main out 1+2 select the drop down button to Main out 2 and select 6 Digital Out R, you'll notice the reamp l+r available there on 3+4.

Now you will have all outputs on the eleven rack available to you.
You can also enable all inputs there too. Good Luck.
