Ok I spent a couple of minutes playing whit this new app, and I feel it's still a little less polished in terms of amp and cabs sound than say bias ,but it's way ahead in terms of features than 4 example jamup,it has dual stereo amp and fx support, it has aby blend and 70+ effects including a poliphonic pitch (hex pog) whammy and tons of other things, definitely woth a try.

Please do! I'm VERY curious to know what a Windows tablet can do. What modeler are you planning to try on it?

Christopher, I haven't tried the app myself but I did listen to some YouTube demos, including the one put out by the company itself (which was useless as it only had one sound during the whole video).

I wasn't thrilled with what I heard, to be honest, but the technical capabilities of the software were very impressive. A lot of people seem very keen on stereo sound, for some reason, and that's the least of what it can do.

I'll probably end up trying it out for myself eventually. But in all honesty, JamUp just sounds so good I don't know if I'll ever need anything else. I know you've seen some of my Facebook posts... you should go and read one of my latest about something that happened at last weekend's gig. You may get a kick out of it.

Marc C, hey bud I think I found one of your patches on Jam up sound cloud, or what ever you call, I am gonna try running the outputs into my mixer and then bose l1, I think my problem was running into a guitar setup, I take back what I said earlier, it's starting to grow on me....

Zac, I think it would grow on almost anyone... with the usual (but easy to do) tweaking for your particular guitar / style / preference, JamUp can sound as good as ANY modeler. Hardware or software. A member of a JamUp Users Group that I belong to claims to have a Kemper and POD HD 500, and to have had an Axe-FX and agrees with me... in fact, he wrote a post stating exactly that.

Nothing against the 11R - it's a great piece of kit, and very pro, but I truly appreciate that I can get the sounds I do out something as small as an iPad Mini or even an iPhone.

P.S. Zac, I'm curious... which patch did you find on ToneCloud? Did you like it?
