here is a quick preset i dialed up to get that sound:

i used an eq after the amp to get rid of some fizz, which he probably did also. feel free to widen the Q to a lower number to get rid of even more fizz if need be. i also dropped off some low end.
i also used an eq before the amp to drop off some lows from my guitar, which has too fat a bottom end. the way to tweak that is to go to your neck pickup and play what he did at the end of the video. listen to how much the distortion drops out and it cleans up. part of that is the lack of low frequencies pushing the amp into distortion. after you tweak your pre-eq to get the distortion right, go back into the amp's bass control and adjust it to get some low end back if need be. it's not the same kind of low end because it doesn't effect the distortion at all.
on my studio monitors the preset sounds real close. the differences in the guitars we use will play a part in the tonal differences we hear.
