X is back with a new tune & video........It's "Llama Rock" time & we're taking a trip to Dream Theaterville this time around (in spirit). My good friend & guitar partner in crime B. Starz wanted to learn about recording. In fact he might even buy an 11-Rack with Pro-Tools now. We co-wrote different Riffs & took turns on the solos & there's even a KILLER KEYBOARD SOLO on this as well.
The guitars are Carvin & PRS...& ALL the tones are coming from the Orange Beast known as the Eleven Rack!!!!!!
The video is a recap of my 2014 NAMM trip done in a SPECIAL way.
I hope everyone is doing well & sorry for the long absence too. My dad had major heart surgery, my job is killing me & they've made me travel a lot lately. The new band (Bad Aim Detroit) has taken off & life is crazy, crazy, crazy once again.
I do plan on doing another 11-Rack jam down the road too. Time will dictate when & if I can get on that.

man, i am so jealous. you got to meet everybody and check out some cool gear.
great job on the music and video.
we miss you around here bro.
Thx Ross!!!!
NAMM can be whatever you want it to be for yourself. You could test gear out all day long, see so many live acts & demos that ur head would spin, meet stars & get autographs or do a combination of it all. I also think that if you lay some ground work with your local music store & or other contacts & let them know that you really want to go, you can get in. It's not that expensive to go either. A flight & a hotel for the most part. It's VERY worth it to me for what I get out of it.
I'm going to try to go through the backlog of threads here & see what's what & get caught up.
It's just great that you guys have kept this place Rocking with all this great FREE entertainment too!
Cool friggin jam brother X!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like you had a blast at NAMM once again. Can you feel my jealousy from here?!?!?!?!?
And I'm REEEEEAAAAAALLLLLY glad to hear that your dad is doing OK! You know you can drop me a line if you need to talk or anything.
Peace out bro!

Oh & I just posted a quick little VIDEO sample of my 11R/EVH Live Rig on my "X-Mann" Facebook page too. It's a little Steel Panther Lick I learned today too! \m/
All Cab modeling is on & going thru the 2x12 EVH cab as well!!!!! I-phone audio, but it still sounds just SICK to me.....lol
While the Llama Rock tune has a Dream Theater style vibe & Keyboard solo, my new track "Temple of Sparta" seems to continue in a similar style. I also started layering 3-guitar tracks instead of my normal 2-tracks. More to follow in the weeks to come.
Awesome tune and tone....your a lucky guy going to namm..gear heaven... I had the pleasure of going in 2002 ....great time..got to meet many people Spencer Davis..Steve Vai..Jerry Donahue to name a few..down to earth friendly people. I had the greatest pleasure to meet and sit and have coffee with George Fullerton and talk fender history and details on my george fullerton signature strat..what a wonderful man he will be missed.
By the way x I am just a few guitar strings away from you on the west side of state

Hey Brent.........Yea, I'm a very lucky guy & have wanted to go to NAMM for 20+ years & pretty much gave up on ever going. Now that I'm "IN", I'm making the most of it & will keep going until they stop sending me the golden ticket or take out a restraining order on me!!!!
The tones in the Eleven Rack are still just stellar & anything that you want them to be! I'm only limited by my lack of mixing & mastering knowledge here. I never run out of ideas, licks & solos.......but....time.....yea.....I seem to run out of that a lot too!
"Temple of Sparta" is in process now & it's a real ball buster too!!!!
Thanks for all the comments & Llama Rock talk my brothers, it means the world to me & fuels me to create MORE!!!!!
