First post to this group, I understand the concept of 11 Hack, would the following high level assumptions be correct in the PC Windows Seven world:
1. Load 11 Hack on my workstation
2. Have Eleven Rack connected to my workstation with USB
3. Grab the rig file I want to use from web and store them on my workstation
4. 11 Hack GUI would then guide me on the process of downloading presets to Eleven Rack.

Besides the latest Java run-time, any other software (drivers) that might be needed?

I just went through this, but I am far from an expert. I had to install the drivers for the 11R to get it to work. I did it on a 32 bit windows XP system. I have the stand alone editor from avid on my laptop which is a 64bit windows 7 machine. I prefer to use the stand alone from avid. However, I think you need a 64 bit machine to run it. Again, I'm not an expert on this, but if you can't install the Avid stand alone, then the elevenhack is surely a help. HTH.

You have to download and install 11R driver from AVID.
Driver version 1.011 is known to work. Later version might not work.
The 11R must be turned on when you launch 11H.
