I use JAMPUP and BIAS now.
I've been a huge fan of Positive Grid's high gain tones for a while but now after they introduced BIAS and its Amp design features, I am hooked.

and tell me guys,did you have a chance to try the difference between using a "jack interface" like irig or irig stomp and a dock 30 pin digfital one like mobile in apogee jam etc? cause i tried bias with the jack type (irigstomp) and was not super happy at all,,,,,,lot of hiss hum and rumor, and (the more annoyng fact) dull and lifeless sounds...i hope the interface does a great difference,but must be like night and day to atify me

I started with the irig and too was super disappointed. But again I figured this was a gimmick app or just a practice tool. Then I purchased an apogee jam lightning for my ipad and was totally blown away. No more feedback, no more quality issues. Definitely worth it to get a quality interface.

I use this with bias and jamup xt pro, I would not suggest one that connects to the 1/8 inch connection, first off you will ware that sucker out and the sound quality is lower. Here is some stuff from there site..........

While I really like the sound of the 11R, my live setup is now a little valise case I built, inside of which are 2 iPad minis (one as a backup to the other) and 2 iRig Pro interfaces - again, the 2nd is a backup unit. Also included are the KMI SoftStep and the necessary KMI MIDI Expander, as well as assorted cables and a Lithium Polymer battery/charger unit to power the SoftStep. No need to plug anything into the wall while gigging.

The software I'm using is Positive Grid's JamUp, which, in my not so humble opinion, is far and away the best IOS guitar app out there. I've tried Amplitube for iPad, Ampkit and a couple of others. None come close to the sound you can get from JamUp. Many of my presets now include amps I designed in Bias (also from Positive Grid)... something that's easy to do and a lot of fun, actually.

Overall my experience with the iPad setup has been surprisingly good and I'm satisfied with my purchases. It must be said, though, that this is one rather expensive setup. Still, I try to be as efficient as possible where gear is concerned because I have so much of it to carry to and from every show. And this setup is small, lightweight, easy to setup and sounds really good.

Far from being an Apple guy - I've always shunned their walled garden - but it must be said that there is nothing in the tablet world, aside from iPads, that can do the job. For now, at least.

i have an ipad 2 on the way thanks to DISH network's new customer deal. it is being shipped to me, so it could be weeks away.....but i will try jamup and bias, so expect to see some presets when i get it.

Yeaaa! I really want to hear What u think of bias to see if it match my perception of that app !
