New track, this time using a Treadplate V sim.

I like John Petrucci phrasing and tones, yes. wink
I use the same presets for all the guitars, Joyo Vintage Overdrive pedal for rhythm guitars and Caline Orange Burst pedal for solo guitar.
And the guitar is a PRS SE 25th Anniversary Custom 24.
Bye and thank for listening!

Hi Guitarrilia,

I'm really impressed with your demos and tracks that you put out. You seem to be a fan of the Joyo Vintage and Sweet Baby pedals. Can you give some feedback on them? Do you feel they are giving you better tones than you can get with the Eleven Rack stand-alone? With more tweaking could you get there with just the Eleven Rack? When I use the distortion blocks in the Eleven Rack I tend to use the Rat & Tube Screamer models, but I really like what I'm hearing from your Sweet Baby demos.

Thanks!

Hi noguud!
Thank you for you comment. wink
In my opinion, "Vintage Overdrive" and "Sweet Baby Overdrive" are both fantastic pedals, but if you also consider the price, are really really great pedals!
"Vintage Overdrive" is amazing for rythm overdrive guitar. It has like a hi-pass filter, so the bass are light, not boomy, but highs are creammy combined with the natural overdrive form the amp.
"Sweet Baby Overdrive" has a mid-high crispy tone, but it preserves the bass. Also it responds very well to the dynamics so it's perfect for light overdrive solos with single coil pickups.
An external pedal gives a fat response, more natural attack and more sustain in comparation with the sim pedal. I have recorded a demo with the same adjustment controls in both pedals, Joyo and eleven Rack Sim. You can see what pedal I've used in the comments.

Maybe you couldn't note the difference because I've used a high gain amp sim, but it's clear with mid gain tones.

See you. wink
