Hey guys.......

I'm in 4-button mode on my GCP (Ground Control Pro) & I've got the tuner set-up as one of the items I can switch on & off..........

But......When I hit the switch that controls the tuner I can still hear the dry (un-amped) guitar sound.......

So....How do I set-it-up to mute the outputs when I select the tuner?

I don't want to hear anything at all out of the mains of the 11R when tuning.....

Help a brother out.....Please..... smile

Thanks & Peace! X

You could make a Patch with Volume Turned Down.
I intend to use my Behringer FCB 1010 and Make a Patch in one of the Banks That is Muted and Uses the Volume Pedal to CC to Controller 69 which is the Tuner.

I'll let you know when I get my Unit how it works, assuming it works...

I'm not at my 11r....but this is what the manual says. IDK if there is a midi option to mute the tuner?

"The guitar signal can be muted by pressing SW1.
The reference pitch can be adjusted by turning
the lit Control knob."

What I'm wondering is if you mute it this way when you turn on your unit if it will stay muted....either for the session or permanately.

Sorry, just another theory. smile

I am pretty sure the "MUTE" in the Tuner by pressing the SW1 switch is global - meaning that it's always muted unless you un-mute it at some point. I muted mine and it's been that way since. I don't see why a midi access would change that...

Is the SW1 switch something that I can assign to a pedal/switch in the 4-Bank mode on the GCP?

Kind of a pain, but it would fix the problem........I hit the tuner switch & then the SW1 switch I assume...... confused

Right now I've got the tuner set-up as a switch & it works great....except for hearing the signal (on clean)......That's not good though..... laugh

Thank you all for trying to help me figure this out........They seem to mute all the main inputs at the board between tunes at the gig I'm doing so I'll be ok for now......but this should be a built in feature if you ask me.....No body wants to hear me tune-up (EVER).......lol grin

Peace & thanks again....X-Mann

You only need to hit the SW1 button one time to assign the "MUTE" to the tuner. After that it should be applied every time you activate the tuner... at least that's how it's worked for me. I muted my tuner a long time ago and now it's just muted.

dmock66 has it right. Just go into the tuner, then press SW1 to mute it. Once you've done that, it will stay muted permanently (unless you purposely "unmute" it).

No point in having SW1 on a footswitch. When the tuner's activated, it doesn't allow 100% of the signal through anyway, so it's useless as an "on the fly" "in-line" tuner. Just set it up muted and use it between songs.
