I dedicate this to Singtall. I came up with it thinking about someone else's needs and I really ended up liking it. My first thought was "I should email Ross and see what he thinks." Had a really sad moment there. I'm not done with putting our friendship back together, but this is a start. Like a lot of Singtall's presets, you can turn on the chorus, delay, compressor, wah and actually have something cool instead of leftovers from some crazy acid trip lol (not that I do that...tried it once was neat but not how I want to spend my free time).

Hope it "unmuffles" for you esizer. I tried some new stuff I wouldn't have thought of and toned everything down a bit on the effects so it's more vintage and less experimental (yet it's experimental to me hehe)

Here's the preset: http://db.tt/DoY2Wt3X

Haven't recorded anything but it plays nice, somewhere in between Van Halen, Mr. Big, and Dixie Dregs type songs (if you dial down), tapping comes out nice as do open chords and dixie dreggin'. Tons of room for bass.

sorry for the slow response, i didn't see any new posts past the first page. i'm not used to there being so much activity here. lol.

i emailed 6 versions of the presets to him a little while ago.

good to see you helping people out, i can't do it all myself and you are very knowledgeable and very able to help others come up with presets.

friendship was never in jeopardy, so email me whenever you want. forgiveness has to be instantaneous and memory erased if we want to be forgiven by God. it's not worth the depression to hold on to offence. smile

Good words Ross, that's how I thought you were. Some friends I have little tiffs with and don't hear from them for years lol. Kinda lame but made me wonder if it'd go that way.

I knew you were working on something for esizer, I got a message around the same time and saw you were on it but figured why not take a guess at it, so there's another option for him to try.

Either way, it made for a preset I really like to play with now. Makes an interesting muted sound and harmonics are very tube like. Haven't turned any preamps on in a few days. Sometimes I feel the variety of the Eleven Rack gets me what I want faster, sometimes I feel the other gear does. I love it when I reach that intersection. My "needs" right now are the Eleven Rack, my "wants" keep wanting more and more stuff to go with the other stuff that goes with the stuff I got for the stuff I have lol.

i know what you mean. i have a couple of tube preamps sitting in the rack that haven't been turned on in like two years i think. i always want more gear, but after having racks full of tube gear and not being happy with my tone i decided that i would ask God to help me get the most from one piece of gear. so far, the eleven rack has been that one piece of gear. i'm not saying that it does everything, but it is pretty good at most things i want/need. the axe-fx does look cool, but i think i'm at a place in life where i need something that i can dial up a little quicker.

Sample (w/cam video): http://db.tt/xXGksbV8

Been playing around with this preset and changed to the +cap setting and tried the Behringer Vintage Overdrive with it (all 12 o'clock) and really love the combination of a green od and white boost sound. The way I have the "real OD" set is much like the Eleven Rack OD, so hoping they allow us to combine ODs in the future because it feels and plays nice.

Been thinking I might do more of these video shorts for samples as it's much faster to throw together than recording multiple takes (and you get a better idea if this will work live). I will probably have this sound dialed up without the need for the Behringer Overdrive because it's kinda noisy, but it's nice to just be able to kick on and off for different textures.

Sorry for all the flubups, kind of lost momentum with my boss keeping me running around waiting on him hehe (the 3 year old at the end, that's his way of asking for a refill lol).

i found the tone very focused. it cuts through a mix well.

flubups are cool. i say keep it real. if you watch my youtube videos you will see us unplugging guitars with a loud pop and click like we just don't care...because we don't care what people think.

Did a test mix/jam, would have rocked had I not felt the need to do it video style. Got nervous and played crap I already played 1000 times. Mostly just wanted to get my session set up for playing a real song. Has a cool Smashing Pumpkins meets 80s hair band kinda thing going. Think I ended up using my neck pickup on the rhythms so had to use the bridge on the solo (and used the Danny Danzi Neck preset, oh I wanted to use the neck position it sounded so much nicer but this fit the mix better. This sound reminds me of recordings I did with my tube Crate combo amp with DSP. Kinda mad the electronics went out after the warranty. Oh well, got tons of amps now hehe.

Trying this preset out again with the Tone Zone and a TS9 at all 12 o'clock and the squeal harmonics and stuff are better than I've gotten since I've been making new presets again.
