Forum - status?

Based on recent activity (or lack thereof), it looks like this about sums it up:

I don't know, I would still find this to be an incredibly useful resource for someone with an eleven rack, I check in weekly.. The eleven rack is all I play through..

I get on to see what is going on. I still play the 11R. I may be going to the Headrush to get the better and more effects opportunities, but my problem is that I have the sounds that I want, and really don't look for much more.

Agreed.

I've noticed multiple forums slowing down quite a bit, possibly due social media taking their places.

Of course it doesn't help that this forum is dedicated to a more or less discontinued piece of gear that many consider antiquated (I don't).

I've also noticed Sweetwater -the only remaining place that still sells Eleven Rack to my knowledge - includes only a one year Pro Tools license with an Eleven Rack purchase. So that's dissuading those who were buying it primarily for the software.

Eleven Rack gives me a clean sound I like and a distorted one. So mine is still my main recording rig, even if there are fancier units available today.

11R is my main device live for guitar and bass. I create/adjust rigs for new guitar/bass on a regular basis and I don't want anything else.

Well today is the first time I have turned on my 11r since I got the Helix (at it's inception) so it's been a wile for me I do love the helix and the only reason I turned the 11r on was I am selling it and my FCB1010 with the eureaka prom 2.0 together for $400... to a friend (he's getting quite a deal really) this rack was the first I got since the ART SGX2000 Express (still have it too) and it served me very well!!! I can say that the 11r is most definitely under rated in the "Game" today the main reason I looked elsewhere was to stream line the set up... helix is all in one and replaced the 11r, FCB1010 and the EPSI (sold it a wile ago)

I do still keep this forum window up on my browser all the time and check in to see whats up... Ya'll are great and there is no other forum with as many good folks, I must say! Have a great new year guys!!!

I haven't contributed in a couple of years here, but I still check in from time to time. In a way I'm kinda surprised that this forum is still active 8 years after it started ( and I was one of the first group of members on here)...especially since Avid dropped any support updates or development for the 11R so long ago.

It was a cool & active forum in its day with allot of cool members, so it will be a sad day when this forum does get shut down.

"My" 11R sure isn't dead. Forum may not get a lot of activity but I still use mine several times a week and don't plan on changing anything up unless it dies (always keeping fingers crossed it doesn't croak).

When the 11R was new and we were all trying to figure out how best to use it ... This was the place to hangout and learn from each other. I'm still using and loving my 11R. If I had the money to spend on new equipment I'd probably buy the Headrush, but for now the 11R is what I got. :-)

But wait! I just got here. You mean the party was yesterday?!! :-(
