Decay - 08/26/16 03:05 AM

I'm using Singtall's preset of Mr. Scary and changed the distortion to Black Ops. Now it seems to be when I strike single notes they have no sustain and fade out quick. I'm running also a sonic maximizer 882i with low contour at @ 11 am and process @ 2 pm. So I dont know if I should set the decay to where? Thanks, Eric

turn the gate almost off and then adjust it until the gate just closes when you don't play a note.

I assume you mean the gate is the cut on the distortion? Just wanna be sure I'm not overlooking anything. Thanks..

I guess I'm doing something wrong. I play a note and it cuts off to quick, no sustain?

the gate is normally the culprit.

I do agree with you as you know your stuff. I don't know as 11r calls it cut? Is that the same? Or where else do I find the gat? Eleven rack editor ? Thanks

If you

1. press the 'EDIT/BACK' button on the 11r
2. then scroll over to the 'AMP' module
3. and press the 'SW1' button

you will be in the amp settings. Once there you will need to

4. scroll to the right once to get to the second page,
5. and 'GATE' should be the first parameter on the page

(at least these were the steps I took to get there using the 'Treadplate M' amp).

Ok now I'm lost. I did what you said but when I hit edit/back and scroll all I see is rig input , output to amps, digital clock, digital output fx loop, midi, rig balance amp cab linking, etc. I did not come across "Amp" module? This cant be that hard, must be overlooking something.

Yeah, if you HOLD the 'EDIT/BACK' button then it will go into the options screen so don't do that, just press it and let go and you will be on the modules screen.
