I could resist picking one of these up and found it sounded really good micing guitar cabinets. You do need to crank your mic preamp gain somewhat, you do not use phantom power with this mic. Give it a shot, price is about 1/2 what they normally sell for...

WOW!!! That is a great deal... yeah and if you do use Phantom power it will blow the ribbon right off!!! when you hear someone talk about phantom power ruining a mic.... ribbon mic's are it.

Just ordered one from GC they had it for $159 and they matched the price.
