At last, Kemper gave me THE Tone . Clip enclosed

Long short story...

Sorry to disturb you, as it is not a Kemper board here, but I told I would keep you updated.

For the moment, I was not really pleased with the Kemper, there was something that didn't sound right to me. The Mesa Boogie sims sounded all lifeless and so on. I new this came from the profiles, not the platform by itself. This was weird, you know, because I can even get a "hot" tone from a Line6 UX1...

I purchased yesterday 2 packs from soundside.de, one for the MarkV and the other one for Elmwood Modena M60. Both sounded great. Trying each them gave me nice tones, but still this slight color I don't like... Grrr, and by mistake today, I mixed one MarkV profile with one Elmwood cab profile, and holy shit, listen to this guys :

I have to be honest though.......I loved your Eleven Rack tone & this sounds the same to me......or maybe just a little more raw......but either way......If you're happy then I'm happy!

My future test is the profiling of my real amp...

you always get a great sound no matter what, but i know how it feels to be 99% there and something is still not right. it's an itch you just have to scratch. i hope the Kemper works out for you. until i can afford one, i will just keep on working the eleven rack as far as i can.

That tone is pretty boss, bro. I'll definitely get a Kemper someday, perhaps version 2.0 down the road. And yes, you MUST profile that Mark IIC++. That's a friggin Holy Grail amp, dude!

without the correct guitar, i'm afraid it's the best that i can do. but i have to thank djemass for posting the kemper clip, because i would have not made this preset without hearing the clip he posted.

if somebody like Jason could post a clip, then we can all hear it. i would, but i'm rusty right now....and i don't want to embarrass myself by trying to play like djemass or Petrucci. lol

Nice djemass! I'm still in the honeymoon period with my Kemper. Have you tried the amp factory's profiles yet? Those are still pay, but Andy's done a great job.

BTW still rocking with my 11R. I won't be parting with that by choice.

Andy profiles are great but I prefer by far Armin's ones. I am also in honeymoon with the Kemper, but I haven't began the serious things (profiling my MarkIIC+, tonematching, ...)
