Was gonna ask if anyone tried these yet, but this is a pretty good demo and I'll incude the link. This is not cheap, and I wish I had jumped on the special when it first came out, but this is the cream of the crop in IRs. I kinda thought it would be but had to know for sure. Multi speaker IRs is where it's at, for my ears anyway. It's a lot of work to get them to blend just right, that's for sure. The ONLY thing is, is this another IR collection that sounds great for Axe FX but not Eleven Rack?

These are the real deal, I bought them when they first came out. Not just for the axe. Just for kicks, I loaded up a Quantum track of a JTM45 and I easily copped the tone with the eleven rack. (FyI, Quantum is the latest firmware, for axe-fx ii). I do this every once and awhile and I really don't think the axe is light years ahead of the eleven. I mean the effects and number of amps etc... yes. But nuts and bolts are still there with the 11r, I am happy still.

I got them I think for $20. Maybe right when they came out. Was using modern and vintage collection before. Definitely like these more better. Can't remember which IR I'm using right this second buts it's a V30 and something else. Finally a V30 type tone I can get on board with.

I'm running a ZLX12P and while it's probably not the best flat response I just can't complain. My tones just get better and better as I learn to tweak the 11. I was wondering if the capture of a 212 cabinet plays any role in it compared to a 412?

All my fiddles are single coil/P90. I do like a darker tone. Using mainly the Bogner red channel and the avid modern sod. Presence low and boost the IR in the treble frequency a tiny bit on the epsi.

Anyways. The 212mix is my favorite right now.

IMHO these work better for my live rig than the V3 4x12, they really do sound nice, but I still use my 4x12 Modern and Vintage studio mix packs more (like all the time).. I will say I really like the V3 16 ohm English V30 in the Sunn cab, and it is cool to have the ability to try the IRs of tons of speakers, I just really like the sound of the Studio mix packs with the 11r.

To give an idea of what OwnHammer IRs I have used:
from the 4x12 V3 collection I have 4 cabs (Sunn, Orange, Bogner, Mesa) with 7 speakers each, a few 2x12 and 1x12 V3 speakers, the 4x12 Modern and Vintage studio mix packs, and the 212-GTR MAR-66 Multi-Speaker Collection...

I don't have the 112 or 212 Studio mix packs, and I have thought about getting the 212 just because I like the 412 studio mix packs so much but I just can't bring myself to spend the money and then the time re-naming and sorting all the files.. I'm sure I will at some point, but will it be worth it?

How are you running the ownhammers Razor? Epsi? I use them with PT, but want to try a something different for live tone.

Yes, I have them in an EPSi with the FX Loop after the amp/cab block (cab off of course) and it sounds awesome like this.

I also took the bypass switch off of my epsi because it just got in the way (would never use a bypass switch for a cab IR..) and it is so much easier to reach the preset knob..

Thanks for the input. The web site is showing a lot more cabinets, not sure if that's an update to this or a whole new thing.

From all the time spent with the Vintage and Modern Studio Mix Packs, my favorites have been boiled down to Scumback M75, Chinese V30, G12M-65, and HB-55 with the solid state (SS) power amp. Always the Modern Mix (even the Vintage pack has a Modern Studio Mix version). On the "Live" ones, I like the T1 power amp (6L6 tubes), but feel like the solid state amp is the way to go for the studio ready ones, with Eleven Rack.

Oh, the new one is cabinets...this one is just the one cabinet with different SPEAKERS.

EDIT:
Here's the mutli CABINET one that's out now: http://www.ownhammer.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=150

So really I've just been doing multi speaker ones, and haven't really made a multicabinet one. TOO MANY OPTIONS! haha
