So I have been a pretty good boy this year (honest guv!);) and have been told I qualify for some new gear! . I am very happy with my Eleven rack/EPSi combination and the only 'extra' that I would like is a good harmonizer (I tried a cheap Digitech RP225 but not impressed). So my choices are:

Eventide H9 or the TC Electronics G Major 2. From what I have seen on You Tube, the H9 will give me harmonizing effects beyond my dreams on the other hand, the G Major 2 has a very competent Harmonizer and oodles of other effect choices!!

So which one would be the better option?????

I would run it in the 11 rack effects loop or before it (I have the EPSi in the effects loop now and from my understanding the harmonizer needs to be first in the chain (?))

i'm not familiar with either one of those units personally. both sound pretty good. i tend to go with the most bang for the buck.

Seriously though, it is the harmonizer effect that I really want (how else can I get that Closer To The Heart solo to sound right )

Ended up going with G-Major 2 since Musicians Friend gave Santa a 17% discount!!!! !!! Also, as Singtall said, most bang for the buck!:D
