Thought I would start a thread for this, if you find any standout free IRs post them here. I've been tweaking some IRs since I sold my Eleven Rack (I'll have another AND the EPSi in a few months and am HYPED about this...you know me haha). This one's straight forward, but I have some that I've added room reverb to or widened that I will post later on. I think the modded version of this one has some vintage console EQs and stuff in it. So here's my first post:

Here's a Mesa 4x12 impulse that is really beefy. I'm going to post the original one I found, and the modified version I made just in case you guys like either one. I loved jamming and soloing around on TSEx30 with it after I modded it with some hipass and EQ. There's not a lot of "big" IRs like this with a lot of low end and depth. I'm really curious now about using it with the cabs off on the Eleven Rack. I wont have an Eleven Rack for a few months, so let me know what you guys think.

Here's a short sample just using a VST amp sim (TSEx30 I think it was). It has a nice feel to it (I'm really picky about that myself too), especially with the higher strings and harmonics, see what you think with 11R. Should be a million times better lol

I usually make all my impulses 44/16.

THE BEST USE OF THIS THREAD: PRE EXISTING UNMODDED IRS and/or HOME BREWED (OR) BLENDED AND MODDED IRS with multiple mics/EQs FX, etc.

Here's some links to mickrich on The Ultimate Metal Forums/Andy Sneap... if you can't find these, these are great. I like the Orange PPC cabs a lot, especially with the i5 and 57. For metal/modern sounds. These to me stand out and aren't "homemade" sounding at all. I think these are all 44/16 too.

I've included his signature for reference:

Some guys give him "tips" but I think these are the best ones out there on the forums tbh...too many hi presence boosted ones out there now as it is. These have some shape to them and aren't hyped (making the highs a bit mellow but should be perfect for Eleven Rack).

Speaking of the S-Pres Hi IR, it's in this pack and it is pretty good for drag and drop album tones for a lot of ppl:

Pulled these from an old thread where I was making modded impulses with various Ownhammer mics, etc. They're so far from the originals you might not even like them. I put rooms, HAAS effects, etc. Just for fun: http://db.tt/1eUiG4qV

The Godzilla Cab is really dark/vintage/thick (yet flat, thanks to the SSL compression, etc), Mothra is a lead guitar impulse with a HAAS effect. Fun to shred around on. I wish I had saved it without the effect because Godzilla isn't dynamic like Mothra. The others...may be okay with some vintage/low gain stuff or who knows with a blind sound test. I was trying to make ones that cut through a mix that already has two or three guitars in it.
