Pretty excited today.
It is Almost New Guitar Day for me.
Well, right now I don't have the money for new guitars. But I have had the last two weekends off work, so time to finish projects. The first was a wrecked and stripped neck through ESP. I bought it on ebay for $80 with the front of the body caved in. Put in Dimarzio Pickups, super 5 way, milled down the top and added a red gum wood top, blacked and pearl coated the back, sides but left the 3 piece flamed maple neck raw.

The next one I picked up for a song while I was in Ohio on business. It was a bit hammered, so put in new stainless jumbo frets, full re-finish on the flamed maple, etc. replaced non-working humbucker with a generation1 EMG 81, bourns pot and new five way. Re-finished the flamed maple neck and headstock. The thing is solid for a no named piece of junk!!

I can't get them out of my hands. They are great!
