Hey guys,

Been a while... So I got real tired of all the rigamaroll I was going through to get my tones with the 11R, POD, and the Epsi and decided to go with the axe fx.

My experience for the music I play, the Axe FX II XL plus is absolutely perfect. It took me little to no time getting a usable preset that in the mix sounded infinitely better than my older setups and felt better while playing.

My 11R served me well, and for the price was an amazing unit. I'll be selling it along with the epsi c and a 2u rack travel case. Hit me up if anyone is at all interested.

Ok since you have moved to the axe-ii, my question is. Is it really miles better that 11r? I don't care about effects and routing, number of amps etc... the obvious improvements. I'm talking about the core tone, between the amps on the 11r vs the same ones in the axe-ii. Are they really that much better? Or does boil down to preference? I am afraid of doing all the work to get one and then being pissed that i am not wowed by it. smile Thanks in advance.

Easily put....

YES! A huge resounding yes. Out of the box there is a huge difference.
