have you gone though and made sure all volume levels are up? are you getting signals on the meters? no sound from any/all outputs?

sometimes i opt to leave my fx loop gadgets at home...the presets ive made that have the fx loop enabled are then muted until i disable the loop. do you have any brain farts like that happening?

All I have is a expression pedal attached to the 11R.
It works fine then I open PT 10 hit record on the track and hear nothing. I do check the main volume control change presets. didn't change any volume levels on anything, it worked fine a minute ago.
That's the scenario in a nut shell.
Like I mentioned before been happening once a week or so.
I'll keep an eye out for volume changes that might have occurred.

oNeKOG - try this just for giggles:

Next time you have no sound, check your clock settings (in user options). If you're currently set to 44.1K, try changing it to 96k, and see if sound comes back on. If it does, it should remain on if you go back to 44.1.

If it works as I've described, it's the classic presentation of the "clock issue" that was reported in some early 11Rs. The issue was supposed to have been corrected in subsequent revisions, but I had a newer one that also had the problem. Contact Avid support.

Happened again.
tried all mentioned above.
No luck.
remembered I was re-amping changed that and all is good again.
re-amping should have nothing to do with playing through just the 11R?

you had to change the rig input when you reamped, right? if the save button was pressed while reamping...
